Soon after giving birth to my daughter, the copy editor's queries came back. Just when I thought I was done -- another round of intense editing started. Everyone told me to "sleep when the baby sleeps" but that was impossible with my book deadline. I did what I could, when I could, while making sure my daughter got all of my time and attention. The first five weeks were a whirlwind for sure! If you're at the final copy editing stage, congrats! The finish line is around the corner.
