It's usually wise for business owners to keep their political views off of social media. Besides, most BIZ Experiencess are too busy growing their companies to worry about tweeting their opinions about what happens on Capitol Hill.

But something big happened in Washington last night: the U.S. government partially shut down as Democrats and Republicans failed to overcome issues related to President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act and to pass a new federal budget. It's the first time the government has been shut down in 17 years.

And while many BIZ Experiencess have remained silent on Twitter, others have taken to the social-media site to express their views as business owners.

Or, at times, to poke a little fun.
