SHEROES founder Sairee Chahal is considered an inspiration by several women BIZ Experiencess. After launching the women-focused social media company, Chahal not only inspired women to use the Internet to find their own personal roadmaps, she also gave strength to many other women to launch their own companies and begin their BIZ Experiencesial journey.

Speaking to BIZ Experiences India during the LetsIgnite event, organized by LetsVentures, Chahal said she was looking to solve her own problems while founding SHEROES. "We (women) want more dreams, ambition, better outcome and a lot more open sky to do well in life, and search for our own identity," she said. She also explained that she understood the "magic" of Internet and how it could be leveraged to improve the lives of women.

Founded in 2013, SHEROES is a women-focused social media platform that lets women participate in different communities to discuss health, careers, relationships, and share their life stories, achievements and moments. The platform is accessible via Sheroes.com and the SHEROES app.

Explaining about her future plans, Chahal said she aims to grow the resources available on the platform and increase the number of women the company reaches out to.

According to Chahal, the Indian start-up ecosystem needs more role models, more women to enter into investments and also become founders. "We need more women in investments, become founders, we need more women to take the risk and at the same time also be okay with failures." She advised women that if they want to do something—be it building a product, founding a company or even do a job—then one should just go ahead and do it as this would be an opportunity for them to contribute to the world.
