The tech world is buzzing with the news of Google's Android P which was announced at recent Google I/O 2018, an annual developer conference held by Google in Mountain View, California. Android P is the upcoming ninth major version of the Android operating system. It was first announced by Google on March 7, 2018, and the first developer preview was released on the same day.

However, the second preview, considered beta quality, was released on May 8, 2018. Just a few hours after the unveiling of Android P, people started drawing a comparison between the features of Android P and Apple iOS. Currently, you can download the Android P beta on Google Pixel or Pixel 2, Sony Xperia XZ2, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21 or Essential PH-1 phones. In August, the tech giant is likely to launch the final version of its operating system update. The OnePlus 6, which is yet to launch, will also be including in the Android P beta.
