In addition, I had the opportunity to work with the renowned world designer Shantanu Garg, who played a significant role in supporting and furthering my vision. During our discussions about rug designs, he invited me to Hyderabad to help design a house, and despite my initial hesitation, I decided to take the chance. It turned out to be an exceptional experience that allowed me to explore my creativity and design skills." Jaipur Rugs, the brainchild of the visionary founder and her father-in-law, Nand Kishore Chaudhary, has been carving a niche for itself in the world of handcrafted rugs without any external capital infusion. The brand has been instrumental in reviving the dying art of weaving and providing opportunities for financial inclusion and self-dependence to 40,000 weavers across 5 states out of which 90% are women.
