It's time for startups to move beyond the urban areas and realize the potential of the rural region. Winny Patro, the chief executive officer of the Indian state government-supported agency Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society that oversees the implementation of the innovation and startup policy, says the rural consumer's demands are completely different from that of an urban dweller's, which gives more scope to startups to innovate and fill gaps in the market.
